Application Process
Check eSIM compatible models
- Please confirm if your device is eSIM-compatible.
- Please make sure the SIM lock is unlocked.
Apply for the eSIM option in the Rental car reservation form
- On the car rental reservation form, check the “eSIM Option” box.
SIM registration only (Registration Fee: 980JPY)
Apply for the package plan you want via provided form
- You will receive an email with a link to the eSIM application form after your booking.
- You can use the eSIM in Japan, regardless of how long you rent the car.
Scan the QR code to activate your eSIM
- After sending the eSIM application, you will get the eSIM activation code by email.
- Activate the camera on a device and scan the QR code.
Another device showing the QR Code is required. QR Code will be sent by 2 to 5 days before the eSIM starting date.
Complete the setup/Activation, Ready to use
- Set up the correct activation method for your device by following the the manual.
- You may start the network connection just after completing the setup.
You will find the link to the manuals in the email with the QR code. You may only use the service on one device.
